Nice color, no hand brake and short seat

I had a Baby Trend Expedition stroller in 2002 and they used to run closer to $200 if I remember correctly but were also made better, like they included a hand brake. I also remember when I used to adjust the hood or the seat to recline/go up it used to be more smooth but with this newer version everything seems to be made more cheap, like the hood seems to stick more when you try to move it. Also the string you use to adjust the straps for the seat to recline are definitely cheaper, you just pull the strings through the mechanism/bead thing but the old mechanism had a thing where you squeezed it first on the sides then you could ajust the seat more smoothly. It just seems everything is being made cheaper these days :{ Also this color is $30 more than the grey one and the seat is very short! I put my 6mon. baby in there and her head nearly reaches the top. What will happen when she gets older/taller?? She won't have a place to rest her head! Usually babies/small children fall asleep while being pushed in a stroller for a long period of time, but with this model, a tired/sleeping child would have to place to rest their head... very disappointing.All that being said, I like the color and how compact it is but I've also read somewhere that the front wheel has popped off(!) while in use for some people so I really hope that doesn't happen to me! I got this for Christmas and kept it in the box until now, April, when she is old enough to use it. Well I wish I had opened it sooner because now I can't take it back, or I would and pick another stroller with A) a hand brake and B) an taller seat. It would be worth it to spend more $$$ for those things IMO. When you are going fast downhill, a hand brake is VERY nice to have. I am disappointed :( The fabric also seems really cheap but I guess this is what you get for the price.
